讀我像本書 Read Me Like a Book

“Read (someone) like a book.” 來自俚語，指當我們能輕易地從一個人的行為或表情，看透他真正的感受，以「閱讀」為名，是做為理解這個展覽的提示。
奇妙的錯覺時而發生在觀看作品的瞬間，當內在世界有著被觸摸到的共鳴，作品揭示了自己的心思，忍不住懷疑，究竟是我們在閱讀它，還是它在某些瞬間也讀懂了我們。
從作品、藝術家到觀眾之間，當「我」不僅是作品或作者的代表，更是觀眾的自我投射，不論是閱讀影像、敘事，或空間，閱讀行為的無限變化可以發生在每個進入書店的人，甚至成為了場域中被觀看、另一種「書」的樣態。

The phrase “Read (someone) like a book” is an idiom meaning that we can see through someone’s true feelings through their actions or expressions. Here, ”Read“ serves as a hint to help us interpret this exhibition.
Moments of fascinating illusion occur when viewing the works, when the resonance of our inner world seems to touch upon what is shown. At these moments, the artwork reveals its thoughts, making us wonder: are we reading it, or is it, in certain instances, also reading us?
Between artwork, artist, and audience, the “I” becomes more than just a stand-in for the work or the creator. It also becomes a projection of the viewer. Whether it’s reading imagery, narrative, or space, the endless variations in how one reads can happen to everyone stepping into this bookstore, each visitor becoming part of the space and a unique “book” to be read.
