2024城西生活節｜笑杯、聖杯、喝一杯。

2024城西生活節擴大舉辦，橫跨城西三大場館－剝皮寮歷史街區、西門紅樓與臺北市電影主題公園，喊出在地信仰精神與常民生活文化的「笑杯、聖杯、喝一杯」口號，探索台北老城區中陪伴我們的各種過「飲」生活，透過十一組藝術家的創作轉譯，感受萬華「飲」的敘事，汲取在地養分延伸出豐富多元、時空交織的萬華文化。

從西門的咖啡文化，到艋舺周邊的青草巷與茶室，再到加蚋仔的茉莉花茶與河川變遷，「飲」見證了臺灣社會的轉型與自然環境的變化。透過不同的藝術形式，這些飲品如何陪伴人們，並串聯起萬華的生活記憶，即使時光流轉，「飲」仍是人們在歡慶、療癒與祝福時不可或缺的一部分，展現萬華獨特的生活魅力。

2024 West-Taipei Life Festival has expanded in scale, spanning three major venues in western Taipei: Bopiliao Historic Block, The Red House, and Taipei Cinema Park. Under the slogan “Laughing Cup, Sacred Cup, Have a Cup,” which echoes local religious practices and everyday folk culture, the festival explores the many “drinking” lifestyles that have accompanied us in Taipei’s old city. Through the creative interpretations of eleven groups of artists, the festival invites visitors to experience the narratives of “drink” in Wanhua, drawing nourishment from the local context and extending it into the rich, diverse, and interwoven cultural landscape of Wanhua across time and space.

From the coffee culture of Ximen, to Herb Alley and the teahouses around Monga, and further to the jasmine tea of Garatsá and the changing riverscape, “drink” has witnessed the transformation of Taiwanese society and shifts in the natural environment. Through various artistic forms, the festival reflects on how these beverages have accompanied people and connected the living memories of Wanhua. Even as time continues to pass, “drink” remains an indispensable part of moments of celebration, healing, and blessing, revealing the unique charm of everyday life in Wanhua.
