《新時計》 (Meta-Tokei) 融合 「超越、變化」 之意的前綴詞 Meta 以及萬華鐘錶街招牌上的 とけい,拼貼跨越 30 年的時間記憶,圍繞對於容器從本質到歷史的提問。畫外音在廣播主持人、倉庫管理員、異響信徒之間交錯,為敘事者身份塑造多義的詮釋空間。

在玻璃回收廠裡,製作細砂響瓶以及沈浸式音像,是放大材料語言和人體觸覺之間的微妙關係。我們一面紀錄著相對於容器形成的歸零,一面以破碎的聲音回響,反思 ASMR 本就安全而私密的預設。在另一種思考物質方法的過程中,以三件作品為一整體,解構時間的脆弱與力量。

Meta-Tokei merges the prefix ”Meta,“ signifying transcendence and change, with the word ”とけい“ (Tokei) from the signboards of the Wan Hua clock street. This collage spans over 30 years of temporal memory, revolving around questions about the container‘s essence and history. The voice-over alternates between a radio host, a warehouse manager, and a believer in unusual sounds, creating a multi-identity for the narrator.

Creating fine sand sound bottles and immersive audio-visual experiences in a glass recycling plant amplifies the subtle relationship between material language and human touch. As we document the zeroing relative to the container’s formation, we reflect on the presumption of ASMR‘s inherent safety and intimacy through the resonance of broken sounds. In contemplating alternative methods of engaging with materials, the three works form a cohesive whole, deconstructing the fragility and strength of time.
