「雨滴是能穿透螢幕的，距離彷彿讓一切變得更加真實。」


此作靈感來自景區監視器上不定時啟動的小型雨刷，透過遠端介面觀看，直播影像中雨刷將布滿水痕清潔乾淨的過程，彷彿自己遠端螢幕上的遮蔽，也如實的清晰起來，有種深入其境的感受。


在兩組影像裝置中，可以看見當石梯坪與台北101兩處風景影像，逐漸由晴轉陰，雨滴悄悄覆蓋表面，形成模糊、遮蔽的視覺狀態，同時觸發安置於外側的雨刷作動，使得真實發生的刷動與已被擷取的雨景影像同步，回到如初的觀看狀態。自此螢幕成為一個介於現實降雨與影像再現之間的中介界面。已然消逝的雨景、持續運作的機械雨刷與身體視角，同時存在於展場之中，使影像彷彿停留在一場尚未結束的降雨裡。ain.

Raindrops are capable of penetrating the screen; distance somehow makes everything feel more real.

These works are inspired by the small windshield wipers occasionally activated on scenic surveillance cameras. While viewing these livestreams remotely, watching the wipers clear away water stains from the camera lens creates the uncanny sensation that the obscured surface of one’s own screen is also being wiped clean, producing an immersive sense of presence.

Within the two video installations, the landscapes of Shitiping and Taipei 101 gradually shift from clear skies to rain. As raindrops quietly accumulate across the image surface, creating blurred and obscured visual conditions, they simultaneously trigger the wipers installed on the exterior of the CRT monitors. The physical wiping motion synchronizes with the captured rainy imagery, restoring the screen to a clear state once again. In this moment, the screen becomes an intermediary interface between actual rainfall and image reproduction.
