能被人理解是幸運的，而不被理解也未必不幸，在城市裡，每一個街區都是一度空間，亦是座因理解不同而被切割並移植的島。在社子，長島的故事已經蔓生了幾十年，一但中止，分解的不只是建築結構與日常，過去的美麗健壯、發生的歷史和經驗，將逐漸失去安放的所在。

〈長島〉將展出 18 位創作者多元形式的作品，除了提出面向場域的想像與思考，其中許多創作的隱喻也緊貼此地處境，嘗試找回那些隨著車流滲入而被稀釋的寓言與聲音。歡迎蒞臨長島，期盼所有訪客都能看到創作者們所見的特別。

Being understood is a blessing, yet it is no curse if you’re not. In this city, every block can be seen as a separated space, and they are also islands that are divided and transplanted due to different understandings.

In Shezi, the fable of the long island has spread for decades. Once it is stopped, not only the architectural structure and daily life will be disintegrated, but the beauty and robustness of the past will lose their place to rest, and so will the history and experiences.

《So long, Island 》 exhibits multiple works of 18 artists. In addition to proposing their space-oriented imagination, many metaphors in their creation are related to the situation of this island. Welcome to Long Island, and hope that every visitor can see what the artists have seen.
